On June 3 of this year, BMB TRADE GROUP and OPERA S.R.L (Italy) signed a agreement for a total of 3 million euros.

In accordance with this agreement, the export of saffron products under the BMB Za'faron brand to Italy will begin in the first ten days of July this year.

It should be noted that the project to create saffron plantations in the Jizzakh region was implemented with the active support of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Italy.

The reason for the signing of this agreement was the fact that the saffron bulbs grown at the joint venture BMB OPERA ZAFFERANO were imported directly from Europe, the cultivation process was carried out under the full control of Italian specialists, harvesting and drying were carried out on the basis of European technology and no chemical fertilizers applied.

Most importantly, our national product was tested in two stages in the European laboratories Chimiche Ed Ecologiche Sas and Laboratory di Ricerche Analytiche e Tecnologiche su Alimenti e Ambiente and was recognized as Category 1, that is, the highest category.

These features have led foreign experts to believe that the saffron product offered by the company will undoubtedly find its place among the sophisticated consumers of Europe.

OPERA S.R.L also plans to export domestically grown saffron not only to European countries, but also to Asian and US markets.

The above means that the geography of export of high-quality export-oriented products with high added value, grown by our company on plantations in the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region, is expanding.
